Zhengdaming grew out of an old trading house founded in 1925, and today is an industry group covering lacquer tree planting, raw lacquer collection, refining and processing, lacquerware making and cultural product development. The lacquer trade cannot be hurried — a lacquer tree takes five years before it can be tapped, and one piece of lacquerware needs eight coats and months of curing. We believe people are the same: slower is often faster.

Lacquer Technician / Apprentice
Lacquering, gold tracery and inlay. No prior experience required — the company provides systematic training under ICH inheritors.
Lacquerware Product Design
Responsible for design and development of lacquerware and cultural creative products; a background in industrial design or arts and crafts preferred.
E-commerce Operations / Livestream
Responsible for store operations and livestream selling on Taobao, Douyin and other platforms; experience in the lacquer or art collectibles category preferred.
International Trade Specialist
Responsible for developing overseas markets for raw lacquer and lacquerware; English or Japanese communication skills preferred.
Lacquer Grove Base Management
Responsible for day-to-day care of the lacquer groves and production management during tapping season; farming experience preferred; based at the Pingli site.
Study Tour Instructor / Exhibition Hall Host
Responsible for guiding at the ICH exhibition hall and delivering lacquer study courses; standard Mandarin and a warm manner required.
